The PlatiGemini 1200 is Enermax’s latest power supply unit (PSU) featuring compliance with both Intel ATX 3.1 and ATX12VO standards. It has an 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency rating, ensuring up to 94% efficiency at typical loads. The PSU is fully modular, includes Japanese capacitors, and supports a 600W 12V-2×6 cable for high-end GPUs.
As for its cooling, the PlatiGemini 1200 is equipped with a 135mm dual-ball bearing fan which results in impressive cooling. According to Enermax, the PlatiGemini 1200 does not turn on its fan until it reaches well over 50% of its load, resulting in silent operation in most use cases. The PlatiGemini 1200 is priced at $249.99 and is available for purchase through Enermax’s US store and select retailers like Amazon. It comes with a ten-year warranty, with availability in European and other markets expected to follow in April.
