The United Way of San Luis Obispo is gearing up for its 12th Annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive, which will be virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative was created to offer students at local schools in need with supplies so that they can start the year off successfully. The United Way of San Luis Obispo donated supplies to over 4,000 students across the country this past year, but is looking to increase donations for 2020 in order to give many other students in need access to these essentials.
To increase donations, the United Way of San Luis Obispo is encouraging businesses and their employees to give what they can. To ensure the supplies goes to students in need, it will collaborate with local school districts to distribute the donations.
