Undeniably Dairy Virtual Field Trip

Hi everyone! My name is Brad Fountain and here’s what’s going on this week at Discovery Education! 

You may have seen the announcement, but in case you missed it, we’re pumped to share the new SEL Center available for Discovery Education Experience partners! Social-emotional learning is so important for students to understand how to manage their emotions, set and achieve positive goals, show empathy for others and maintain positive relationships. Now more than ever, we knew it was critical to curate a collection of these resources to help you integrate SEL into your core instruction. There are tabs for professional development, ready-to-use instructional activities and student-facing digital content for all grade bands. I would definitely recommend checking out the instructional resources  – we’ve included SEL writing prompts, SOS instructional strategies, tons of studio boards, educator guides and more. We hope you’ll explore the collection and share with us your favorite resources! 

Also this week is the premiere of another new Virtual Field Trip with Undeniably Dairy. Teachers can register their students for the March 4th event to learn about the innovations and STEM that the dairy community is using to help improve access to sustainable food sources. PLUS there’s a special appearance from celebrity chef, Carla Hall! If you can’t make the live premiere, you can always watch the virtual field trip on-demand at any time afterwards.
