Hi there! My name is Michelle Sartori and I have the privilege of working with many of our amazing content partners, including World Wildlife Fund, Newsy, and Common Sense Education. I also get to introduce content from new partners like Science News for Students. You can check out articles from Science News for Students and explore many other new resources in Discovery Education Experience.
This week at Discovery Education, I’m THRILLED to announce another exciting livestream event! This Thursday, February 18, Perseverance, NASA’s most advanced Mars rover, is continuing NASA’s investigation of the Red Planet and your students are invited to join the mission.
After its exciting launch on July 30, 2020, Perseverance is set to touchdown on Mars this Thursday. To commemorate this momentous occasion, we’re teaming up with our partners at NASA to bring you and your students a special livestream event, starting at 2:15pm ET. Take this opportunity to engage students across the STEM fields with insights into the Mars mission, live footage of the landing, and ready-to-use activities and resources from our Explore Space with NASA channel. You can learn more and register at the link above, and be sure to let us know you’re tuning in by sharing with us on social using #CountdownToMars!
We hope you’ll join us as we continue to build high-quality, standards-aligned content to help you build engaging learning experiences for students around the most important topics. Have a great week!
