Let God arise, let his enemies he scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him (Psalm 68:1).
When God arises in a man’s life, all His enemies are scattered and all those that hate Him flee in terror! The question then is: how does God arise in a person’s life? Is it by the person praying, “O God arise in my life, put my enemies to fight” what must you do for God to arise in that situation you’ve found yourself?
Firstly, I want you to notice the words “Let God arise”, that’s another way of saying “allow God to arise”, This immediately shows that it’s your responsibility to allow God arise in your life. Since the bible lets us know hat God and His word are one: “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and ht word was God” (John 1:1), it therefore means that giving God’s word first place in your life is the way to let Him arise.
God doesn’t need to part the heavens to arise in your life, for he lives in you. Rather, as you meditate on his word and speak in tongues, His word is stirred in your spirit – that’s God arising in you! Then speak forth that word that has welled up in you as a prophecy. No enemy can resist the power of the spoken word!
When you’re faced with situations where you need God to arise on your behalf, don’t cry out as though you’re helpless! Stir up the word of God in your spirit and release it through your mouth. Keep making such declarations as: “I have the life of God in me! I can never be poor in my life! Prosperity, health, and the good life are my birthright; the lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places!” As you do poverty, sickness, lack, and want will flee from you! Your faith in God through His word will rise like a giant and whip the enemy.
