HomeUncategorizedImpaired Digestion and Adrenal Fatigue

(Note: We experienced technological problems with this video–read: user error!–and its volume is a bit lower than the others. You’ll to turn this one up…apologies.)

The problems of irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut, dysbiosis, heartburn, slow stomach emptying, and intestinal candidiasis are digestive complaints for sure, but they are also symptoms of underlying Adrenal Dysfunction.

These symptoms and conditions are actually extreme versions of “butterflies in the stomach” that we’ve all experienced at some point in our lives. I say this not to minimize the distress of these conditions, only to point you toward the true underlying cause. You simply cannot chronically suppress the digestive function (with chronic stress) and expect it to function properly.

The mainstream medical community has no answer for these “functional” digestive problems.

While short-term, temporary use of medications (such as acid blockers, Imodium, stool softeners, or even candida cleanses) may sometimes be warranted, these often do not get to the underlying cause of the condition. These temporary fixes will never truly heal the condition.

When you assess, balance, and treat the underlying Adrenal Dysfunction, your digestive woes vanish over time. While it’s not a quick fix, it is a permanent fix!
