Disney Channel’s original movies offered so much more than entertainment: they were a handbook for life, warning its young viewers about high school bullies, peer pressure, and sometimes, just how easy it can be to clone yourself or switch places with your sibling. (More on that later.)

DCOMs, as they are referred to, also served as a launching pad for several household names.
